Yellow Couch Music

New York’s Layton Weedeman is a modern day Renaissance man with skills and abilities across the many universes of art. Layton started with music, playing the drums and now has blossomed to creating jazz, hip-hop and R&B. Through the years Weedeman’s been involved in multiple bands, landed TV placements, recorded projects from scratch and much more, his experience stretches decades. Layton’s love for the arts comes in the rawest, purest form; he's not looking for fame, not obsessed with streaming numbers, but rather looking to have a genuine impact on a deeper level with the listener. “At the end of the day, I want people to hear it and feel inspired,” Layton explains, “whether that’s to get down, create something of their own, or just lose themselves in the vibe for a few minutes.” Now in 2025, Layton’s launched Yellow Couch Music and is preparing to release new solo work this Summer.
