Gramercy Cardiac, one of the leading providers of cardiac diagnostic services in New York City, has worked with Loci Architecture on the upgrade and expansion of three separate facilities in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Queens. Each of these projects included the installation of a PET scanner, a sophisticated medical imaging machine. The scanners and their related equipment require designs that ensure optimum performance in the environmentally-controlled suites.
The Forest Hills project added a new cardiology suite with technician work spaces for the efficient use of multiple medical equipment and increased patient demand. The Flatiron project added a new cardiology suite and billing office on the 9th Floor of a converted light-industrial loft building.
