Loci Architecture transformed this 500 sf one-bedroom apartment into a clean and more contemporary residence for our client. Areas of focus were the kitchen and bathroom while finishes were carried throughout the apartment. New sliding kitchen doors with a translucent acrylic resin help divide the spaces while not sacrificing floor space. With the muted and off-white colors consistent throughout, the insertion of a bold red backsplash brings energy to the space. Sustainable strategies include the use of renewable/recycled materials, installation of low-flow fixtures and improvement of indoor air quality.
